What We Do in Public Health
ARI's capacity prepares us to design and implement public health interventions such as:
Healthy traditional food markets
Building management capacity to establish and maintain safety and security measures, proper water, sanitation, drainage facilities, wastes management systems, and hygiene practices;

Facilitating coordination of social and health services for displaced persons.

Promoting involvement of community in using public health data, prioritizing needs, planning actions, mobilizing resources, and monitoring services and results.

Designing targeted disease prevention interventions using a behavior change approach.

Facilitating participatory design of layout and procedures for improved functionality and staff/client satisfaction.

Promoting positive change in hygiene practices.

Building institutional capacity (management and regulatory agencies) to construct and maintain safe water source/supply, proper sanitation and wastes management systems and good hygiene practices.
