ARI continues to build a core Senior Management Team with a commitment to establishing ARI as an organization known for its excellence of program and operations. Rather than maintain the most highly qualified senior staff in a US headquarters, these Senior Managers and specialists add value by being based at field locations where their management is responsive to and enhanced by direct involvement with projects and beneficiaries.
Additional qualified persons are hired as technical consultants, only for the length of time needed (cost effective) for initial project design and to support organizational capacity, and will not be headquarters based but always directly applying their expertise in field locations.
Most importantly, most other positions in each country are local national staff, especially for senior management to build their capacity, for greater culturally sensitivity in implementation, and to insure that the program has the greatest possible effect on the local economy.
